Vivian Lehman's Home Page!
Welcome to my web pages.
I am a professional Researcher and Historian with a degree in History and Geography. I am also a professional genealogist with over 22 years of Experience. I am currently working toward a Masters degree in History and my Genealogical Certification with the Board for Certification of Genealogists.

Travel is one of the benefits involved in being a professional researcher. One summer I traveled all over England, Wales, Cumbria and Scotland. Other research trips took me through Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, & Utah. My trips were temporarily curtailed last summer while I was involved in field work for the U S Deptartment of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. Since research is my passion I found the work to be exciting and would love to have more work in the same genre.

This summer I attended The Institute of Genealogy & Historical Research at Samford University followed by a research trip through The Carolinas, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisianna.

So far I have helped two authors with their historical research, I have done the research for 2 of my own small compilations and have done research on numerous historical essays for history & geography course research projects. [I admit to being proud of the work I have accomplished.]

I was an LDS Family History Consultant for 1 year and was on the staff of the Greenville Family History Center for about 5 years.
