The Apprentice - Summary for Week 9 - Thursday, Mar 4
Donald starts off telling Versacorp they now need to select one person from Protege, to be added to their team. They selected Amy Henry to rejoin their group.
"You've Gotta Believe"
Versicorp Project Manager: Nick
Protege Project Manager: Kwame
Each team has to select one of four artists, and sell their paintings at a gallery.
The Reward: The winning Project Manager is given 10 minutes alone with Donald Trump.

The Artists
Giles-Real touchy-feely with Omarosa, included his own hair and clippings in his paintings
Meghan-Wierd and strange, but more pricey
Leah-Paintings from her life, beach and picnics and such
Andrei-Natural scenes, earthy tones

Protege selected Megan, and Versacorp selected Andrei.
While working to set up for the gallery, Omarosa starts complaining of her headache again, insisting her and Heidi stop for lunch... a sit down lunch. This creates a major feud between the two women, with Kwame hearing most of it on the phone.
Versacorp sold 8 pieces for $13,000, while Protege sold 1 piece for $869.

As the winning Project Manager, Nick meets with Donald. Donald explains the importance of his parents in his life, then tells Nick that he has been doing well in the game.
Protege meet with Donald to discuss the day.
In the board room, Kwame explains they made a calculated risk that didn't work. Donald explains that their personal dislike for the artist's work was the beginning of their demise. They then discuss the fight between Omarosa and Heidi. Omarosa defended herself, needing to sit down for lunch because of the headache she had from the concussion.

Kwame chooses Heidi and Omarosa to go before the board for the next firing.
In the hall, Omarosa breaks down crying, then goes back into the board room early. Donald is shocked at first, then decides to start the meeting, saying they all have problems. Heidi agrees, calmly mentioning her mother's cancer. Omarosa asks to leave for a moment to get a tissue.
Donald agrees Heidi has an edge about her, but Omarosa has too many excuses. He doesn't like excuses, so she has to go.

The Apprentice - Summary for Week 8 - Thursday, Feb 26
Donald starts off 'showing them something really cool', and takes them to a truck with a 'Trump Ice' logo on the side.
"Trump Ice"
Versicorp Project Manager: Ereka
Protege Project Manager: Heidi
Each team has 2 days to sell... water.
The Reward: Helicopter tour of Manhattan for the winning project manager and two selected members.

Day One:
Ereka and Bill start going to restaurants, with Ereka's sales approach being that they are 'creating a buzz', while Bill explains the bottom line numbers.
Troy finds many stores don't have the storage space
Amy and Omarossa are teamed up, with the strategy "if Omarossa needs to shut up, I'll kick her under the table. She got kicked quit a bit." Omarossa also continued to suggest 'a couple cases', when the agreement was for Amy to deal with the numbers after Omarossa finished the sales pitch.
The first night, Heidi decides that "Omarossa can't sell herself out of a paper bag."
Nick is upset that Ereka suggests she look at the website of a potential client, comparing it to 'teaching the pope how to pray'
Day Two:
Omarossa sells two cases, while getting a makeover
Troy has a breakthrough, realizing if space is the problem, sell the water over the long term, X cases per week.
Versacorp: Ran into problems with the paperwork, not having it all in order.
Protege: Gets everything together and waiting for George

Tension about the outcome causes everyone to let loose and go out partying that night. Nick and Amy start to show sparks. Amy says "I think Nick has a crush on me, but I haven't had time to think about how I feel about him."

The Results
Protege: $6283.45, with over $3,000 going to 2 distributors
Versacorp: $4,015.92

Heidi invites Troy and Amy to go with her on the helicoptor tour.

Ereka talks with Bill privately, saying she is going to be taking him with her to the board room, along with Nick. Her reason for taking Bill is because he was with her on some of the calls.

Versacorp meet with Donald to discuss the day.
In the board room, Ereka explains they lost because of the distributors, having outsold the retailers. Ereka explains her problems with Nick, refusing to research a company website. Nick explains he comes in 'big energy, charisma, talking up a storm'.
Ereka chooses Nick and Bill to go before the board for the next firing.
Nick says he went 1000 mph. Ereka interrupts, causing Donald to turn to Bill, telling him he's smart to stay quiet and fly under the radar. He asks Bill who he would choose. Bill thinks about it, saying Ereka dismissed many of his ideas, making him invisible. The tables are turned toward why Katrina isn't there, causing problems for why Ereka put the blame on Nick. Donald's belief is that Ereka let her personal feelings decide who would go to the board room.
Week Eight - Thursday, Feb 26 - Fired

The Apprentice - Summary for Week 7 - Thursday, Feb 19
Donald starts off telling Protege they need to select one person from Versacorp, to be added to their team. They selected Amy Henry to join their group.
"Aparment remodel"
Versicorp Project Manager: Katrina
Protege Project Manager: Troy
Each team has 72 hours to remodel an apartment on Court Street(value $1500) and Third Street(value $1200).
Katrina and Troy both want the Third Street apartment. She wanted them to write down which apartment they wanted, and Troy wrote "I want what you want", upsetting Katrina. It came down to a coin flip, won by Troy.

Protege begins remodeling, but becomes frustrated with Omarosa who decides to stop the work frequently to discuss what needs to be done. Heidi recieves a call that her mother is in stage-one colon cancer.
Omarosa decides her head hurts from a getting hit by drywall, plus didn't sleep well. She goes outside, but ends up playing ball with kids.
Katrina scores by finding a contractor to help with the remodeling for $1500. Everyone in the group is a little turned off by Tammy's attitude during the remodeling.
Versacorp: Rents the apartment for $1650, a 10% markup.
Protege: Rents the apartment for $1525, a 27% increase.
The Reward: None mentioned, until the boardroom, when Donald tells Protege is going to a picnic at his house in the country. Donald asks to speak with Heidi for a minute, asking about her mother, and confirming Heidi wants to stay.

Katrina feels Bill was partially responsible, because he was solo in charge of negotiating the final lease. Tammy continues to feel pressure from the group because of her comments in the room that Katrina was 'duped' by Troy at the beginning.
Versacorp meet with Donald to discuss the day. Katrina chooses Tammy and Bill to go before the board for the next firing.
Katrina explains the energy she had to use in controling Tammy. Tammy responds that Katrina broke down and is trying to throw blame. Donald feels Katrina should have remained in charge thru the negotiating process, and Bill should have been able to negotiate a higher lease. However, Donald feels Tammy's disloyalty to the team is the biggest problem.
