Player Report:
Craig Moore
rejoined the club in April 1999 after a short spell at English
club Crystal Palace.
Dick Advocaat had never really wanted to let Moore go, as he played his best football for Rangers under the Dutch coach.
But with his contract reaching it's end, Moore was sold to the London club before he was available to leave for free.
But when Palace's financial troubles escalated they were unable to pay Rangers what they were owed and in an unusual move, the player returned to Ibrox.
Advocaat quickly made it clear Moore was his first choice to partner Lorenzo Amoruso for the start of the 1999-2000 season and presented him with the number 3 shirt.
Despite some shaky early performances, Moore steadied his game and has shown why Advocaat has such faith in him.
His performances in both the League and the Champions' League won him rave reviews from fans and pundits alike as he scooped a player of the month award in December.
