The infamous "Fishy" website.... a place where I have found some great support and some amazing friends. Has lots of information about eating disorders, including articles and regular updates. Includes a great bulletin board and chat room, where there is almost always someone there.
The sister site to Something Fishy, a great interactive site with an enormous amount of information that gives a lot of insight into the disorders. A Survivor's Wall also, which is a really touching page ~ definately worth a read.
A faith-based organization founded to focus on the importance of applying a healthy balance in areas of eating, image and life. A relatively new website, and definately worth looking at, also details of a forthcoming book which should be released soon.
One of the first sites I went to, a brilliant interactive site with lots of information about eating disorders as well as issues such as grief, and self injury. Also a place to meet other people sharing the same concerns and problems.... a nice way to get support.
A good website, with information on conferences this year (2002) and various employment opportunities. A new and improved site, previous called EDAP. Tips on helping yourself, and others. Very resourceful
One of the best referral websites, a chance to find out about different treatment centres in your area. Definately worth looking at, if you are considering inpatient help. Also opportunities to work within a treatment team, as well as detailed information on what eating disorders are.
A good website, with a different approach to eating disorders. Information on psychotherapy treatments, as well as a Recovery Bill of Rights. Some good links and treatment options.
A touching and unique website. Information on eating disorders, treatment plans and so on, as well as her own account of being inpatient. Links with the Something Fishy Website, with photos of various *fishy* meets.
A brilliant website, with lots of information about various issues such as MPD and PTSD. A personal account, and a different approach in general to the problems. Certainly worth a visit, on the whole an impressive site.
An amazing website, very resourceful and with a personal touch to finish it off. Lots of information, but with also some of her own poems and writings that are definately a "must-read." One of my favourite personal sites...
A regularly updated website by a fellow ED sufferer. Some inspirational writings, which are worth reading. Lots of interesting information, and some amazing graphics. Great homepage!
