From 1998 to 2001, I attended the Great Lakes Maritime Academy to learn about working on boats. In this section we look at Great Lakes Freighters. Boats I've seen, inside and out. A special section on my 138 days aboard the M/V Oglebay Norton. Photos, including new ones from my sea project, somewhat interesting stories, and links to help you find more information.
