It later burned down. My grandmother, Ida Johnson Britt, liked to point out the location of the old hotel.
now "The Sycamore Grill". This building is located on a lot by the railroad tracks in downtown Stone Mountain. A portion of an interior wall has been opened to reveal the unusual construction materials. By the way, the food here is delicious! Be sure to ask for a printed history of the hotel.
