People have all kinds of pets. Would they ever eat their pets? No. So why would you want to eat any other kind of animal?

I think of it this way: People who are vegetarians live perfectly normal lives without eating meat, meaning that you can survive perfectly fine without meat. So why slaughter innocent animals if you dont have to?
