Rain Gutter Regatta - The 2006 World Friendship Celebration theme was "Sailing Around the World". Each troop created a display about their country, decorated a sailboat, and provided a sampling of the country's cuisine. A Rain Gutter Regatta was held with each troop competing against its own members and then sending the top three racers to compete against their sister troops. Our country was Madagascar...yes, partly because of the movie!...but we had a wonderful time learning about the island.
