Tomado de REFLEXIONS
ON THE PATH (1986) by Herbert B. Puriyear, Ph.D. Bantam Books Inc. Based upon the readins
of the Sleeping Prophe Edgar Cayce Pags: 192-210
There is a great deal of talk about the
times of crisis to come in the next 20 years. Not only do the Edgar Cayce
readings make predictions about these times but prophesies are coming from
other sensitives, from the churches, from fundamentalist groups, from Pentecostal
groups, and from new-age groups. But the concern is not just from religious
groups but also from unexpected sources. Geographers are talking about
cataclysm earth changes, economists are talking about growing tensions
in international political relations. There are wars and rumors of wars.
When we think about recessions, and world specialists are talking about
growing tensions in international political relations. When we think about
times of crises, we are likely to think of large-scale political, economic
or even geological upheavals. "Times of testing"
was the term the Edgar Cayce readings used for these times. One of the
characteristics of these times is the variety and diversity of the testing
which we are undergoing individually. Each of us is being tested in a different
and unique way. For some, the testing may be a challenge to one's health-whether
it is poor health, pain or suffering. Others are being tested with an abundance
of health, energy or unexpected resistance to disease. Some of us are being
tested economically, by struggles and shortages, while still others are
being tested with a surplus and affluence. Some of us are undergoing testing
with the problem of loneliness, or of a life-confining companionship, of
no companionship or of meaningful relationships. Others are undergoing
tests by finding and abundance of friends, companionship, and loved ones.
Some of us may be tested by actually undergoing cataclysmic changes in
the earth affecting thousands about us; and some of us may be in safe areas
but being tested in more individual ways.... CONTINUE
