The success of this movie prompted to remake this in Hindi as "Tohfa" which again became hit. Shobanbabu and Jayapradha acted with Sridevi. In one of the scenes, after a song, Sridevi gets drowned in Sea. Her saree flew away and she struggles to breath. Shobanbabu rescues her and gives her artificial respiration. A sareeless Sri wakes up and hugs Shobanbabu. The camera didnot fail to capture the elegant beauty and flashes whatever you don't want to miss!
