  • The Nefydd Stud was started over 50 years ago.  The story of the 'Start of it all' can be read in the 1963 journal.
  • The owners of the stud are Mrs. Margi Edwards and Mrs. M.C. Williams who have been involved in breeding and showing of Section As and Bs and Part-Bred all their lives.
  • Located in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd, renowned for it's wonderful views of hill and vale.  Only a short distance from the main A55 through North Wales.

  • The stud has been very successful in the show ring over the years, winning many major shows at home and abroad.  Ponies from Nefydd have been exported all over the world.
  • The stallion at stud is a home bred Section B stallion Nefydd Super Sir whose blood lines go back to the first pony at Nefydd.
  • The Nefydd ponies have wonderful temperaments. Our aim at Nefydd is to see all our animals perform in harness or under saddle.
  • A warm welcome is extended to all visitors by appointment.  We are happy to give accommodation and organise tours of stud and sightseeing in the area.
