About the GSO
Formed in 1911, the Glasgow Society of Organists       is involved in promoting organ and choral music           through recitals, concerts, lectures and                   educational events.
The GSO has a current membership of around 200,    including organists, church musicians, and those        who simply enjoy organ music.
The GSO is particularly interested in building                 up its membership amongst schoolchildren and church  musicians who would not see themselves as trained organists.
Benefits of membership include a Yearbook and          bi-monthly Newsletter, as well as many opportunities  to meet other people with an interest in the King           of instruments and its music.
