Our Objectives and Purposes - Our Mission Statement

The mission of The Center is to provide education, support and services to gay men, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered people in the Inland Empire, as well as those who support the mission of The Center. To that end, the primary goals of the corporation shall be:    

To represent members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities in the planning and implementation of policy and services which affect the well being and health of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people within the Inland Empire.   

To develop and implement program services that are consistent with the needs of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people within the Inland Empire to assure positive outcomes while working in coalition with appropriate groups to promote the mission of the corporation.   

To promote visibility and awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people.   

To promote a pro-active agenda in support of issues germane to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and HIV-affected communities, while striving to work in coalition with appropriate groups to promote the mission of the corporation.

So what does all this mean?

Well, essentially it means that we're here to help you. If you're facing discrimination, trouble 'coming out', loss of a partner, or isolation, we can help. If you just want to socialize with other GLBT people, we can offer that as well.
