As is true with almost any school or class, you have diversification in the students. That's what makes the World go around. This holds true for the Class of 1967 of Glencliff High School. We came from many different backgrounds. We came from local Elementary Schools, Glencliff, Glenview, Turner, Glengary, and Woodbine, as well as schools from other parts of the State and Country. At the time, we didn't have Junior High Schools in the area. Glencliff was a 7-12 School. We started, for the most part, in the Seventh Grade in our own Junior High within the High School. We struggled with our own identities, made many new friends, learned to change classes when the bell rang, and learned to stay out of the way of Senior High people and Mr. Thompson's "right sleeve" on his sports coat. We made it through Jr. High and then became "High Schoolers". We had arrived! With this came dating, cruising Shoneys', and more changing of classes. Then the big day came. June of 1967. We took our first step out of our "comfort zone" and into the real world at Graduation. We went into the Job Market, Military, Marriage, etc. The rest of our History is being written every day. So, this page of the Webpage will always be incomplete.
