A Child of the King is the personal saga of spiritual discovery made by the author, Joanne Marsh, when she found her life wanting, suffering from disability and illness. As one who had left the church as a teenager, this re-discovery led her, in the face of despair and fear, to a renewal of honor and worship to God.

The author shares personal thoughts and reason following a diagnosis with a disabling illness. So, in turn, will the reader share in the trials she faced; with her marriage, the challenges to her beliefs and a change in her outlook on life, until finally, she accepts and fights physical and spiritual illness.

The reader may not agree with all aspects of the author’s spirituality, but will indeed appreciate the honesty and excitement the Bible passages evoke, as life’s experiences have a common bond with all of us. A Child of the King is truly an inspirational chronicle of the perseverance of God’s goodness and blessings in the face of Satan, illness, and hopelessness.
