I have had my hands in filmmaking for almost ten years. Ten years of VHS, Hi-8, and MiniDV filmmaking with my friends in Lunenburg. That is until I moved to the big metropolis known as Halifax and began taking evening acting classes at Neptune Theatre (Adult I & Adult II), while I was attending college during the day for Applied Arts.
As the year went on, the whole "acting" thing was becoming more and more intriguing, and I took another evening class and took part in a musical.
Shortly after, I auditioned for, and was accepted as a student in Neptune Theatre's Pre-Professional Training Program, (an 8 month intensive acting-training program) which I have just recently graduated from.
I whole heartedly love everything involved in filmmaking and theatre, and I hope to eventually further my knowledge in the making-of portion of these, but at the time being, I am enjoying exploring the "acting" side of things quite a lot.
*Recently: Glen Matthews has completed NEPTUNE THEATRE'S PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM under the instruction of Samantha Wilson, where he performed in BLOOD WEDDING on stage directed by Anthony Black, he also completed work on an episode of PARKER PORKHAM, a show directed by Sam Fisher, and is working on finishing work on Jason Eisener's first feature film STREETS OF DOMINATION. |
