| The GLENS SWIM CLUB relies upon its' parents entusiastic support for each swim meet to run smoothly. Parents ae required to work at least one meet in one of positions below. The age group parent, starter, head finish judge, photographer and sometimes scorekeeper work the entire meet. The work for the remaining posisitons is one half of the meet. |

| * Please note - all persons volunteering for Head Finish Judge, Starter or Stroke Judge must attend a league stroke clinic. If ou attended last years leaque stroke clinic, you must attend a division clinic. Times and dates to be announced. |

| Timer - Times each race, gives time to place picker to write on ribbon. Place Picker - Watches each race to determine which positions a swimmer finishes and awards ribbon. Concessions - Helps prepare, distribute and sell food and drinks. Stroke Judge* - Walks along side of pool to assure swimmers do the correct stroke. Head Finish Judge* - Watches the finish of each race; is back up in the event there is a question among the place pickers. Age Group Parent - Insures the children are on deck at the correct time. (13's and up not required). Announcer - Announces each race, works closely with starter to insure the meet is ran smoothly. Score Keeper - Keeps Score. Photographer - Takes photos at events. |
