The African Classical musical group consists of three major parts. Glenwoo [beep] on guitar, Japan/Japon on keyboard/vocals, and Wedishide on drums/vocals. Other guest members include Ocarina, Spectrum, and Alec Baldwin.
The origin of the band is a long tale of trials, tribulations, honor and flight. The year was 1987. Wedishide was born. Now let us journey to that fateful day in 2002 where the words Glenwoo were first spoken...
It was a long trip to Singing Hills retreat, when a fierce hurricane began to brew on the eastern seaboard. Glenwoo [beep] knew there would be trouble on the horizon. Flipping on his high powered spotlight, he signaled for help. And no sooner did the symbol of Japan, Europe illuminate the clouds than did the apple tree on the highway median begin to tremble. With a mighty wind the hurricane swept away the apple tree, devoiding all hope of eating the delicious red fruit. Glenwoo [beep] knew he couldn't finish the task alone. He called upon Wedishide and his ability to throw canned soup long distances, for none can match this terrifying power. Wedishide tossed a can of Campbell's Tomato into the wind. There was silence on the frontier. All of the sudden, the hurricane began to roar. It stood on its hind legs and beat its chest. But Glenwoo [beep] was undaunted. Clutching Wedishide's hand in a python grip, Japan/Japon leaped into the air, vaulting onto their extended arms. Forming a crude A as if they were gymnasts, the three combined Glenwoo [beep]'s powerful grip with the ability to throw cans of soup, and now with Japan/Japon's unique gift of the ninja. The three powers combined as one, and a hero was born. "You cannot defeat me, not even with that hero!" Bellowed the evil hurricane wizard. Just then the hero took hold of the sword and cast it into the belly of the dragon wizard hurricane. With one last breathe, the hero knew his task. He jumped in the mouth of the monster and sealed the sword in the hurricane forever, so none could manipulate its power. The bus began to cheer. Glenwoo [beep] was glistening with sweat, exhausted after a successful battle with the Cyclops wizard dragon. The bus windows began to fog, due to the heat generated from the hotness of the ninja. Japan/Japon, his ninja black suit burning with hotness, wrote this memento on the window: Glenwood. The name of the warrior cyclops wizard. But alas, the entire word would not fit. And Glenwoo was born. |
