~*DOB*~ Ian was born on the 17th December 1966, making him 35.
~*FAMILY*~ : Ian's parents are called Julie and John, and they live in York. Ian has a brother called David who is 18 months older.
~*EDUCATION/WORK*~: Ian finished his GCSE's and then went onto work in the British Rail. He gave up because of the allegery he contracted while working there. Thank goodness for TV, he joined a amature Drama, and then progressed as an actor.
~*FAMOUS FRIENDS*~ : Include Michael Greco (Beppe in Eastenders) who studied Drama together at Guilford, 13 years ago. On the set of Casualty, he gets on well with Ben Keaton, who plays Spencer, and Sandra Huggett. He also shared a place with Noah Huntly when he first starred in Emmerdale.
~*MARTIAL STATUS*~ : Apparantly, Ian is indeed seeing someone but hasn't disclosed the lucky ladies name. However, this was in December of last year. Previous girlfriends include Phillipa Forester, who he dated for 2 years. According to the Sun, Ian also dated Tracey Shaw. I hope whoever he is attached to at the moment, that he is happy and having lots of fun!
~*A few facts...*~

~*~ Ian is an avid Barnsley FC fan, having a goldfish named Toby.
~*~ The reason why Ian wears blues gloves and not the usual white ones, is because he is allergic to the high proportion of latex they are made with.
~*~ While performing as Danny Zuko in the hit West End musical Grease, Ian was shocked when he received a pair of lepoard skin pants on stage!
~*~ A days worth of filming, in Bristol (The set of Casualty) can take from one, to fourteen hours a day.
~*~ Ian wouldn't like to do Patrick Spiller's job in real life, because there is too many long words to memorise and alot of responsibility is taken. (Too right!)
~*~ From his BBC chat he did in December 2000, one can only gather that he has a fond liking for Tequilla. He and Ben Keaton spent the chat boasting about the alcohol consumption they were indulging in!
~*~ After staring in "Get Real" (A documentary where the stars of Casualty visited St George's Hospital and shadowed the real doctors) many people started rumours that Ian and Sandra Huggett (who played Holly Miles) were infact together in real life, after they're on screen joking. Bless!
