| Procedure: The piercer will clean, mark, clamp, then pierce the spot. There are many different places to be pierced in the mouth area. Lips: I hope we all know what lips are. :) See a pic. Labret: The area between the lips and chin. See a pic. Lowbret. To the right or left of where a labret would be. See a pic. Madonna: Where Cindy Crawford's beauty mark is. See a pic. Medusa: Directly above where a labret would be except above the lips and below the nose. See a pic. Scrumper: The gum tissue above the top teeth underneath the top lip or the one underneath the bottom lip. See a pic. Thanx to BME for the pics!! Aftercare: It varies but usually 1-2 months for it to be completely healed. Some may impair eating and swell for the first week. Soak in warm sea salt soaks and clean thoroughly with an anti bacterial soap. |
