Navel
I have my navel done, and I think it is one of the best body piercings.

The Procedure:
Most places (although this may vary slightly) will clean off the area first and then mark the spot so they know where they are going to pierce. They then will clamp it and pierce the spot usually with a 14g, although you can have it pierced to a larger gauge, but not usually a smaller one. The pain is very minimal, if you have any at all. Most places will not numb this area, but there's no need to anyways. The actual piercing part takes about 2-3 seconds.

Aftercare:
It takes about 6 months for this piercing to completely heal. Always wash it out with an anti bacterial soap for at least the first six months, but I still even wash mine out everyday in the shower. For the first months you'll want to wash it twice a day and for the first few weeks you can soak it in warm water and sea salt. I did this using a shot glass, which seemed to work the best. Make sure you have low waisted pants for the first month or so.
