Miso Soup
You need:

stock
or water and boullion
miso paste
spring onions
tofu

To make:
Boil the water (+boullion) or stock.  Then add some miso paste to taste.  You must use a fork, chopsticks or whisk to dissolve the paste.  Add tofu cubes and bring back to the boil.  Place chopped spring onions in bowls and ladle in the hot soup. Serve with rice.

Variation:
Add vegetables (especially carrot...YUM!) and ladle over noodles for a bigger meal.
You can also garnish with toasted sesame seeds which are delicious and give a deeper flavour.

This is a quick and nutritious and especially schlurp for breakfast!

Assorted Indian Curries
Nice try!
Someday we will be generous enough to give out our secret spice masalas but not today!
Porridge
Especially good in NZ winter
Make up some porridge (oatmeal) in the normal way on the cooker but put a couple of sticks of cinnamon in the cold oats and water.  This gives a lovley warm infusion while it's cooking.  Place hot porridge in a bowl and top with liberal amounts of honey, chopped apple and vanilla soymilk.  Of course you can use cows milk but vanilla soy milk is a recent discovery of ours...it's schlurp!!
Variation:
There are hundreds but one is to add dries apricots when cooking instead of apples after cooking.  Delicious!

Mushroom snack
Choose some large beautiful field (Portobella) mushrooms.  Remove stems and place upside down on a tray. Top with grated cheese and your favourite herbs and place under the grill until bubbling.
Two of these babies make an excellent snack or you can put the whole thing into a burger bun and add the usual toppings for an excellent veggieburger.
