Rappaccini's Daughter
by Nathaniel Hawthorne

Adapted by Jennifer Stoessner
Hawthorne's 1844 story of scientific experiment and human frailty suggested the perfect vehicle for puppet theatre.

The puppets have been painstakingly designed, sculpted, and sewn.  They feature turning heads as well as plastic tubes at the wrists for the insertion of arm rods.

In order of appearance:

Giovanni Guasconti
Dame Lisabetta
Dr. Rappaccini
Beatrice Rappaccini
Dr. Baglioni
