"Beauty and the Beast"
Chupacabras and beautiful girls go  together-- one of the dating secrets of South America!
In Latin America, looks are not as important as "good character."  Could a chupa find happiness with a super-model? You bet!
"What's cookin', good lookin'?"
"Lookin' for love . . .
in all the wrong places . . ."
From Trixie's Diary--

"He was a perfect gentleman.  He brushed his fangs and groomed his fur before picking me up for our date.  He even used "Old Spice."  I felt myself falling for him while we danced the Lambada at the Crystal Palace.  He didn't try to kiss me on our first date either.  He did kill a few of the neighbor's chickens on the way to his car, though . . ."

Visitors--

This page is to be read (I hope) with a sense of humor.

For those who don't know what a "chupacabra" is, search the word on any search engine and you will get dozens of hits.  This Spanish word means "goat sucker."  (Chupa = "sucker" and Cabra = "goat" in Spanish.)   These mysterious critters have been widely reported in Latin America.  The chupa is the stuff of "urban legend," or in this case, more like "rural legend."  These pint-sized monsters visit farmyards in the middle of the night and kill goats or small creatures like chickens or turkeys using the classic Dracula technique.  Little puncture marks on the neck, drained of blood, and the whole bit.  I have never encountered any report where a chupacabra bit or otherwise molested a human being.  So there's no reason why a super-model couldn't get along with one.  Most photos of them are bogus, as are the ones above.

As with flying saucers and Area 51 and the like, no one can really
prove whether the chupacabra is real or just a fantasy.  However, if one refuses to accept that something is coming in the night, it's difficult to explain the blood-drained farm animals, isn't it?    I have traveled to Brazil many times, and belief in the "chupa" is alive and well there.  Cases are reported just about every week in the newspapers there.

All the photos -- both girls and monsters -- have been taken from sites that do not claim any copyright.   They were posted as "public domain" objects.  If there's a problem, please tell me and I will remove any photo with rights claimed at once.
