President Bush praying.
On September 11,2001 America was attacked by the act of terrorism. The worst attack ever on American soil, leaving over 6,000 innocent people dead or missing.
President Bush has urged us all to pray, declaring September 14th the Day of National Prayer and Remembrance.
"Tonight I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and security has been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are with me".

We as a nation need to continue to pray everyday for our country. If we had already been on bended knee, on our faces before the Lord asking for His leadership perhapes today we would be praying for His continued guidance instead of His mercy ........
If My people,
which are called by My name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray,
and seek My face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
II Chronicles 7:14
Hear my cry, O God;
attend unto my prayer. From the
end of the earth will I cry unto thee,
when my heart is overwhelmed;
lead me to the rock that is higherthan I.
For thou hast been a shelter for me,
and a strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in thy tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of thy wings.
