Akira Toriyama is now one of the most famous manga (Japanese for comic) artists in the world. He began his career at the age of 23 and was first known for his popular series called Dr Slump which was a weekly series about a scientist who creates a female android named Arale. After eight years of eight years of Dr Slump, Toriyama ended the series and shortly after created another hit series called Dragonball which he also concluded recently after continuing it for about 10 years. He has also been the character designer for many games including a 3D fighter game for Sony Playstation.
Akira Toriyama is 174 cm tall and is a family man who has two children a boy (named Sasuke) and a girl (name unknown) both who he spoils. Toriyama also has a cat which he adopted after he found it in the rain.
Some facts about Toriyama are that he detests cold weather and that he is deathly afraid of rats (hey, we are all afraid of something!).
