The Golden Dawn is a worldwide fraternity dedicated to preparing sincere people for true Adepthood. It is here that the Adept learns the "secrets" of listening and hearing that inner voice of Light called the "Higher Genius" or "Holy Guardian Angel." The Higher Genius is the True and Bornless you. It was reality before you were born, and it will be so after you die. It is timeless. Under the guidance of your own personal Higher Genius, you will learn the reason you are here, alive and in the flesh. This is your own True Will, and in the Hermetic tradition this development is called the Great Work. The Golden Dawn is a true and ancient Mystery school designed to take you step by step from where you are now to the door of Adepthood. But the work is dependent on you and you alone, for no one can ever tell you your True Will except you! In this, the Golden Dawn is very different from many other groups who study the Mysteries.

Our purpose is to help the student to develop a deeper reflection and inner connection to the Light of Truth. It is at this point that the student becomes aware of subtle laws and principles that govern the entire Universe. It is through initiation and Golden Dawn study that the student becomes the Adept and learns to awaken latent powers. This leads to not only spiritual success, but to victory and success in every aspect of your life.

Through the powers of initiation and knowledge blossom all inner talents and powers that are thereafter awakened and re-awakened. One develops a higher selfless purpose in life. Inner enlightenment is the lantern in the Darkness of night that guides the way. In essence, perfect peace and happiness can only come when all the aspects of one's life are integrated together in harmony and cooperation. These aspects are expressed through the four elements of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth working under the direction of Inner Light and Spirit.

The grade material of our Order is broken down into the five Outer Order Grades ranging from 0=0 to 4=7. We make no apologies that our material is comprehensive and will require effort by the student/member. Within the five Outer Order grades, there are over 150 lessons. In addition to the printed material which is highly illustrated for in-depth understanding, the grade material also includes audio tapes. This allows the student to hear the pronunciation of various words that will be encountered within the grade. It also allows the student to hear actual rituals being performed. This increases both speed and ease of learning on a deeper basis. Every month, the editors of our grade material review the questions sent in by students both at our weekly classes and from our Brothers and Sisters in the Correspondence Program. If a section of the book needs rewriting, or a future explanation, it is done immediately. Unlike published books that may continue to print serious mistakes, year after year, our grade material is not stagnant. It may be the same material, but we are constantly looking for ways to make it more understandable. Even more important than the published material, is Order Support. We provide our members with complete Internet correspondence, a private phone line for live consultation, a 24 hr Fax-line, and, of course, mail correspondence. This means that our Correspondence Brothers and Sisters are receiving all of the help and support that they need. We encourage our members to be interactive. As we're given to, so must we give.

The Temple of Tehuti offers full physical initiation for all aspirants in the area of Vancouver BC.  We offer correspondance membership for all of Canada.  Membership includes regular weekly classes, group rituals, a monthly newsletter, and a personal proctor who will oversee your studies, answer any questions you may have, assist you with the practical and ritual work, and test you when you feel you are ready to advance to higher grades.
