The Goldfield Historical Society's current project for 2006 is to collect memories of Goldfield residents, both past and present. The passing of every man or woman means the passing of some tradition or knowledge possessed by no others; consequently the information that is to be gathered for the benefit of future generations, respecting the mode of life of one of the greatest gold camps in United States history, must be collected now or the opportunity will be lost for all time. If you, family member or friend have lived in Goldfield, Nevada we would like your story(s). It does not  matter when you lived here. We feel the collection of untold stories about the people and their lives are important to future generations. Goldfield Historical Society in the 1980's published a book of stories called "Goldfield Remembered." This effort of the current Historical Society will be "Goldfield Remembered II.
