| No matter where I wander, no matter where I roam Whether going with someone or all alone I seem to make a friend along the way Just by saying Hey or a smile today A friend to me is truly a treasure One who doesn't smirk or measure One who will always be a friend to me This friend is extra speical and kind , you see So if you see me walking down the street Perhaps I'll give a welcome as we greet Just greet me with a true friendly smile Then maybe we'll sit and talk a while A friend to me is special; has a place in my heart I know we'll be friends even when we part God brought us together; you're not just a pretty face I know that you have a heart and soul; a special place |
