Designs by: Abigail Goss of Crotiques

Materials:

Worsted weight yarn
"N" hook and "G" hook and "I"

All charts are worked in the following manner:

  1. Begin at the bottom of the body, working color changes. Continue straight up without increasing.
  2. Work 2 "body" pieces, sew shoulder seams
  3. Sleeves are worked by picking 11 sts as shown on chart(10 on each side, 1 in shoulder). Work to desired legnth or 8 rows. Sew sleeve seam and side seam. Work step 4 on ends of sleeves
  4. RIBBING:

With I hook, on sleeve, Join w/sl st, ch 3, dc in each st across, Join to ch 3. (20 dc)

Change to "G", ch 3 (counts as first backpost (BP) dc), *Front Post (FP) around next dc, Back Post (BP) around next dc. Rep around. Join, fasten off, weave in ends. Rep for other sleeve.

Working around neck, with I hook, attatch yarn with sc. ***sc around in each stitch loop, skipping 1 st at each corner, JOIN. Change to "G" hook. Work 2 rows ribbing as before (Ch 3, *frontpost, backpost around, Join). Fasten off. Weave in ends. (I had about 42 stitches around neck at end.)

***To make smaller neck opening, work sc dec on first round 2 times on back and 2 times on front, evenly spaced)

Working around bottom, With "I", ch 3, DC in each st around, working a DC decrease at the 2 side seams. Join. NOW work with "G" hook, continue 2 rows of ribbing as before. Fasten off.
