Final Fantasy Needleworks & Cross Stitch -- It's a small gallery so far, but I hope it will grow! Any needle-and-thread rendering of any Final Fantasy subject is welcome here. Check it out! Updated 22 February 2006!
Dragonfly -- Colorful pastel dragonfly on plastic.
Hummingbird Coasters -- A set of four different hummingbirds stitched on white Vinylweave.
Tinkerbell -- A sparkly Tinkerbell with lots of blending filament.
Foxgloves Sachet -- A lavender-filled sachet decorated with foxgloves.
Windmill -- A greeting-card insert of a windmill on blue.
Southwest Pots -- One of my earliest finished projects, complete with not reading the instructions! ^_^
Bluejay -- A small gift stitch of a bluejay for a friend.
Yoga Bear -- Another small gift stitch, this one of a bear meditating. :)
Teapots -- A simple yet huge design, on 8-count fabric using 6 strands!
Smiling Sun -- Yet another "sun in splendor" piece, which I did originally make to go with the other one listed below.
Wedding Anniversaries -- My first sampler, first piece with beads, and first piece with charms, all in one go! :) Very good use of charms to "make" the piece.
Oranges II -- Another "orange crate" type piece. Very colorful!
Celtic Knots -- Cross stitch, with variegated threads (my first attempt at same). Came out pretty nice, I think!
Celtic Dragons -- With Celtic Knots under my belt as practice, here's the Celtic Dragons in variegated greens and more celtic knotwork.
Thank-You Rose -- Small xstitch of a rose, used as a thank-you card.
Clematis Flowers -- A work I'd forgotten I'd completed, part of the floral series (more of them below). On 22-count hardanger, over one square.
Kitty Boreas -- Small gift piece of a cat wearing a robe and crown.
Hummingbird 1 of 4 -- On Vinylweave, first of a set of four hummingbirds. This one's a Costa's hummingbird.
Sun in Splendor -- Needlepoint, in blue and gold, of the sun in splendor (with a face on it, for those not in the know) surrounded by stars.
Moon and Stars -- Needlepoint, in blue and gold, of the crescent moon with a face on it, surrounded by stars. "Sun in Splendor" and "Moon and Stars" go together, I think.
Cherished Hearts -- A gift comprising four differently stitched hearts over a fringed backing. The whole thing is sandwiched between glass at the end.
Old World Style Hurricane Map -- Over a year and two attempts in the making. A lovely, Old World style map showing hurricanes' stomping grounds.
Oranges and Lemon Pillow -- A pillow design with the ever-popular-in-my-family citrus theme. On an amazingly huge count (5 stitches per inch!). **Awarded Honorable Mention at 2004 Florida State Fair**
Citrus Coasters (Orange and Lemon) -- A couple of clear coasters with orange and lemon designs. Did these a couple years back and recently rediscovered them (they were a gift shortly after I finished them).
The Other Taurus the Bull -- I seem to have several friends and relatives born under the sign of Taurus, so here's another Taurus I did for one of them. Different than the first Taurus, listed below.
Facial Tissue Packet -- A small packet (requires some sewing) for holding facial tissues in, for travel purposes. Very pretty!
Thinking of You Greeting Card -- A quick kit for a greeting card, perfect for someone you care about very much.
Seasons -- A small piece representing items of the seasons. Updated, now with mat and glass!
Grandchildren -- One of the two pieces is finally available for viewing!
Chili Pepper Plant Poke -- Not much else to say about it, really. It's, like, a chili pepper plant poke. Another quickie kit.
Taurus -- My second piece on perforated paper (don't yet have a scan of the first), Taurus the Bull.
Friends -- A very small piece from a kit, meant to be turned into a tiny sachet and/or fridge magnet.
Musical Pig -- A small piece involving, well, a musical pig. And no, it's not a Porcarina - but kinda close! ^_~
Medieval Cloister -- A wonderful lavender-filled sachet displaying a monastery garden.
Vespatie -- An early piece where I charted the first part of the Lord's Prayer in Lithuanian.
Delphiniums -- A greeting-card insert of the towering blue flowers.
Birdhouse -- A gift piece of two birds and a birdhouse, in a decorative display.
Elly's Hummingbirds -- Another gift piece, hummingbirds, for a baby shower.
Dormouse and Hedgehog -- Not the only instance of a hedgehog you'll see here today.
Red Poppy -- ...and not the only poppy you'll see here, either. Don't worry, the individual pages explain. ;)
Hummingbirds -- Seven species of colorful hummingbirds in a large design.
My Little Hedgehog -- Finally complete! But did I make a mistake in the lettering?? Read and judge for yourself...
Hedgehog Keychain -- A small keychain with a hedgehog cross stitch. What else can I say? ;)
Bee and Clover -- Just like it says - a bee with (red) clover blossoms.
Winnie the Pooh and Piglet -- A friendly Pooh & Piglet piece.
Metallic Butterflies -- Great piece, scan isn't my fault! ^_^;;
Pheasant Eye Flowers -- One of a set of four I did for my mom. Pheasant Eye is a British wildflower, I don't know if it is in the US also.
Seashore Welcome -- A big complex piece that took over a year to do because I got frustrated for a few months. ^^;;
Lighthouse on the Rock -- A very nice lighthouse cross stitch that came with its own pre-cut mat.
Jewels -- My first big attempt with lots of metallic thread. Originally intended to be a sachet (read the page to find out what happened there).
Pincushion with Flowers -- Because I needed a pincushion, that's why!
Desert Landscape -- Saguaro and claret cup cactus. Father's Day present for 1999.
Tulips -- The third in the floral collection.
Poppies -- The fourth in the floral collection. Only 10 more to go!... ack...
Gratuitous MST3K Reference:
Joel (in a 'Wicked Witch' voice): "Poppies will make her sleep!"
Tom (stage whispering): "They're tulips!"

Buy My Book! :D
