While here for a visit in March '04 I was helping Rici with her homework. Imagine my surprise when this "homework poem" was in the work I was checking. She is always leaving little love notes for Grampa & Gramma (also for my mother). Some I don't find til after she's gone back home. Some I have to pretend not to see her writing so it's a surprise!!
I've kept them all in a desk drawer -- someday she may wonder what that crazy old lady was saving all those scraps of paper for!! This note so touched me I scanned & saved to my computer so I would have a copy. I didn't know why until today. It is typed here words and punctuation as they were on her homework page (I have left her last name off for privacy reasons) - I hope you enjoy it! |
