Grandanor Society

Grandanor: Remembering the Romanovs is a society for those who believe that Anna Anderson was Anastasia, or who simply enjoy learning more about the Romanovs. I started it over a year ago, in December '98, after noticing the absence of any interactive online activites relating to the imperial family...

Anastasia, 1914 - Colored by Victoria Bostwell Grandanor Society is made up of many members who have varying opinions on the Romanovs' deaths. They have their ideas, and are very headstrong about them sometimes ;D, but a common thread holds them together: a love of the imperial family. The main goal of Grandanor is to remember the last imperial family of Russia as they were: a loving, caring, close-knit family that was tragically murdered. The secondary goal is to present proof and personal thoughts on the validity of Anna Anderson's claim to be the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaievna.

In short, the Society is an organization of people dedicated to remembering the last Tsar and his family. I (Victoria Bostwell) send out a newsletter with notices, updates, dedications, Russian facts and recipes, and other things every other month. When important information (such as tours) are acquired by Society Moderators AND members, the information is forwarded to anyone on the list. Members are also given the opportunity to join Grandanor, an exclusive mailing list hosted by ONElist (now Yahoo! Groups), that discusses Imperial Russia and all things related.

To join the society, simply send me an e-mail with "Join Grandanor" in the subject box. Include your name, e-mail address, web site (if you have one), and how you became interested in the Romanovs. Any other information is strictly voluntary. To join, you must have a valid e-mail address, and be over the age of 12. If you have any questions, please consult the founder and owner, Victoria Bostwell.
