This is Bruce Larson and his "USA-1 Camaro". The photo was taken at U.S. 30 Drag Strip on June 21, 1970.
The following pages are a brief history of the drag racing I've seen over the years. People, places and cars from the famous to not so famous. The drag strips include Indianapolis Raceway Park, U.S. 30 Drag Strip, Bunker Hill Drag Strip, Bee Line Dragway, Tucson Dragway and Route 66 Raceway. I have not yet created a seperate page for Route 66 because my one trip there was to attend the US30 reunion in 2006. Although I made a few trips to Bunker Hill Drag Strip, I never took my camera so I have no photos from there to post.
The "Featured Driver/Mechanic" page gives a brief history of that persons racing carreer along with pictures of the various race cars they may have driven or worked on. "Featured Driver/Mechanic" pages have been added to their respective track pages. If you know the whereabouts of someone who deserves a little recognition, let me know.

Several people have left notes in the guestbook asking me or others for info/photos/etc but then do not leave an e-mail address to contact them. This is probably due to the fact that many people don't want their e-mail address plastered all over the internet for Spammers to get. I understand this. In the fututre, if you are looking for info/photos/etc, send an e-mail directly to me at grc46250@NOSPAMjuno.com (remove the "NOSPAM" before sending). I will then post your request on my "Where are they now?" page. Please let me know if you want me to give out your e-mail address. Otherwise I will assume you don't and I will act as a middleman.
My Info:
