Columbia CA also has a restored Gold Rush Town as a living park.  You can walk to the park from the airstrip. Pan for gold. Get a cold soft drink. Stay at an 1860's hotel. Watch a melodrama. A fun for the family stop. One favorite airpark (grass field) is Columbia, CA (O22). A very nice grass field running perpendicular to the asphalt strip, with camping sites with showers available just to the north of the grass strip, and available to pilots only. John
