Homemade Jelly
Pumpkin Butter is a combination of spices such as ginger,
cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, with additional ingredients such as
sugar . It is a tasty topping for breads, and other baked items
as well as a favorite ingredient for a variety of cakes and
cheesecakes .

Spicy Pumpkin Butter
1/4 cup Dark
brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp Sugar 1/4 cup Water 1/2 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Ginger 1/4 tsp Cloves 1/4 tsp Nutmeg 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 1/2 cup Pumpkin
Combine the two sugars, water, allspice, ginger, cloves, nutmeg
and cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure.
MICROWAVE on HIGH 3 minutes; then stir.
Add pumpkin and microwave on HIGH another 5 minutes.
Let cool and refrigerate. Keeps several weeks in refrigerator
--OR--- it can also be frozen.
