| Christmas 2000 was a hit at our house. |

| This year Julie was an Angel in the Greensboro Ballet's production of The Nutcracker at Greensboro's War Memorial Auditorium. |

| Of course, she was just wonderful. For the first time she was able to be in the special school shows and miss a day of school herself. She was also part of the touring company that went to Salisbury to perform and she was on WFMY's "The Good Morning Show." This was all a big thrill and we are so proud of her! |
| The Nutcracker was a big hit with Sam. He loved the music and danced right along. But he seemed to have his own opinion as to Julie's fitness to serve with the Heavenly Host. |

| Christmas came and went too quickly. Preparations were frantic as always and sometimes we just wanted to hide. |

| But it was all worth it to see the joy in Sam's face the first time he met Santa. |
 |
| Santa was very good this year and Sam celebrated his loot with a little dance. |
 |
| But he could not understand why Julie was so greedy and wanted to keep her own presents. |
