Kenny Kenny hosted his first dinner party at Beige in the Bowery Bar on Tuesdays The Bowery Bar & restaurant has been the home of Beige for over 10years now.   It’s just as successful as it was when it started. Beige, which is also hosted by promoter Eric Conrad allows stars like Kenny Kenny to invite guests to themed dinner parties. Fabulous Freaks was the title for Kenny’s evening tonight. We were all told to “dress as over the top as you like, which is the only way I like to dress for dinner”, Says Kenny. I’ve known Kenny for over 13 years and he has always out dressed everyone so I have learned to never predict what one thinks he might be wearing.” I think it’s important to honor the eccentrics in this world, they are the forerunner’s in the creation of style. People in fashion have never created style they just copy it from the eccentrics. Freaks, that everyone shuns until their ideas are copied and end up in Vogue to become fashion. We all arrived for dinner at 10PM; I was so delighted to finally meet Flawless Sabrina. I had heard so much about her through the years and I had seen her in the film “The Queen”. I was a bit of a fan and knew she was from my home town, Philadelphia. She proved to be as much of a classic lady as predicted. Lavida also is someone that I admired for many years. I think the first time I really felt that way about her is when I saw her dressed as a fifty foot praying mantis. She was walking on stilts in the most amazing costume at a Susanne Bartsh party in Miami at The Delano hotel. It was great to hear a true cockney London accent from this one of a kind lovely creature. Amanda Lepore was also sitting next to me. I had told her that I was doing some research on Dianne Brill for the New York 80’s launch of the Blitz Kids. Amanda was very interested in her and her cosmetic line Lip Lingerie. I told Amanda that I could definitely see her launching her own cosmetic line. Amanda is very beautiful and perfect for this kind of thing. I was also delighted to be sitting next to Sultana who is very funny and witty and made us all feel at ease. We all had a great time, Kenny is an excellent host and everyone from other tables was stopping over to tell us about their parties or projects.  The restaurant was very crowded with a huge open air garden. The perfect way to spend a hot summer night in the city.  It felt like a bit of 1940’s Hollywood glamour in a freaky  way.
