Gazelland due out this spring. The magazine created by super freak and host Gazelle will feature commentary from New York, Brazil and London with
columns on nightlife, music, fashion, food and edgy up and coming underground
freaky chic life in the big city. Gazelle, a mild mannered first class flight attendant
by day but by night a fabulous freak host and VIP door greeter for Crobar. Gazelle was inspired by a lack of interest that most club magazines had in the freak chick scene.
First he created a web fotolog, a web site with daily photos, news and party info.
This fotolog idea had a great response so he came up with Gazelland, referencing that the glamorous gang of night people resembled a flock of wild gazelles roaming from one fabulous party to the other. I assisted makeup artist Marla Belt on the first photo shoot for the magazine. Marla is inspired by the Blitz Kids and tweaks those classics looks with air brush bright colors. There is no mistaking that this project is a labor of love and is sure to be a big hit. Gazelland magazine coming soon!
