We are still in Berkeley at the moment.  We just bought a nice little digital camera, so we will upload some pics as soon as possible. Although our trip has not yet officially commenced, it is already rich with symbolism.  We have a trip mascot (Myron the rag doll) taped to the back window of our already named car- the 'vehicle of subdued excitement'. I'm in a library while Glen is doing our pre-trip laundry at the laundromat. Not much to report as of yet.  More later... greg
