Oak Hill Chapel's Christian Links
Oak Hill Chapel is taking a calculated risk when we offer links for "the public" to follow. Why? Because it's impossible to control the content of someone else's Site or even guess what content a public forum like a newsgroup will contain at any given moment. We try to monitor the links we offer with some regularity but it's always possible to miss something. In the event you should find something at a link we provided that concerns you (content not suitable for Christians, unsound doctrine, etc.), please make the effort to contact us . We don't want to be culpable in disseminating false doctrine(s) or offending someone's sense of decency. That being said, we believe the following links can be used for the edification of the body of Christ.
Oak Hill Chapel does not necessarily agree with every aspect of the following messages.
Oak Hill Chapel is including a Real Audio section. We especially like
these for the reason it free's one from the console to do other things
while you're listening. We call it productive browsing. How many times
have you missed that radio ministry you follow daily? Maybe you can
get a second chance to hear it now. Many of the popular radio
ministries also have their daily broadcasts available in the Real Audio
format. We hope you enjoy learning about God's will as much as we do.
You may download your choice of the following programs in the event you don't
already have an application installed to utilize Real Audio format files:

If you already have a real audio player then select the audio program you wish to
listen to below. This will automatically load the Real Audio player and begin the
audio program. If you do not have an audio player then click on one of the available
players above to download a free audio player. If you have difficulty with the connection
while listening to the audio programs try setting the buffered play at 60 seconds in
the preferences menu of the real audio player. Net congestion is the number one
cause of server disconnections. Internet traffic is greatest from 6 PM to 11PM.Oak Hill Chapel does not necessarily agree with every aspect of the following messages.
Be advised! Newsgroups are a forum where freedom of speech is truly practiced. Content can change from moment to moment. It's not uncommon for those who are hostile to God and God's people to troll around in these groups and post shocking and offensive comments. Keep in mind they do this in hopes of inciting a less than charitable response from God's people. Don't bother visiting these links if you're easily offended or if you're likely to respond in a harsh way. I believe people who take the time and effort to act out in hostile ways to "the faith" are actually experiencing an internal struggle. Their doubts and lifestyle are attacking a portion of themselves that still can believe. It's a cry for help. Pray for them and act as the Lord leads you to. The truly ambivalent won't take time out of their self centered lives to communicate with believers. There is also a lot of intramural debates that go on in these groups. Don't let that distract you from the worthy objective of "Keeping the main thing, the main thing.". Like all mediums, these forums can be abused. You will find evil things intended to shock and frustrate you and you will find good compelling arguments that can build your faith. It's a great place to learn like a fly on a wall and it's not necessary to contribute to the forum in order to benefit from it. Don't bother trying if you're easily offended. It is a metaphysical certitude that something offensive awaits.
