My Family

My family means everything to me. God gave me the perfect partner, my wife Sue. I cherish her. We have three children so far. When my first son was born in 1992, I was in the blessed position of being able to put my career on hold to care of him (Mr. Mom). Along came my second son in 1994 and gave me a little more challenging job which I happily continued till 2000. We determined that I should return to the work force since both children were now old enough to attend a full day of school. My wife went to part-time status and I returned to SBC full time. We were a little surprised when Sue became pregnant and gave birth to our 3rd son in late 2002. To make a long story short, I'm back in the Mr. Mom business and it's great!!! It may cut across the grain of tradition but it's a great experience playing a more active role in nurturing our children. They are Eleven years, Nine years, and Eight months old as I write this. Our boys can be a handful at times but I think they are the cutest and most loving children God ever made. It's a bit ironic in that I never really devoted much thought about God or to being a husband and father while growing up myself. These relationships are now what my life revolves around and I couldn't be happier. The best things in life are free!
