AWARDS FOR COLUMNS
In
April, 2007, Rummo's column, Greatest
Story of Forgiveness, was among the fifteen finalists chosen
out of over 600 entries in the 2006
Amy Writing Awards contest.
The column was subsequently awarded a $1,000.00 "award of

Achieving
Permanent Peace in the Middle East,
a column that appeared in the New Jersey
Herald on April 8, 2002, won a $200
award in January 2003 from the Amy
Foundation.
The
book, Taking Religion Seriously Across
the Curriculum was reviewed in The
Record on July 18, 2002 in a column
entitled
Getting Religion Back into Classrooms,
Rummo's column won 2nd place, a $500 cash
award, in a book review contest sponsored by
The Amy
Foundation. The prize was awarded in
November, 2002.
'Prime-time
Debauchery' Makes Mockery of Fidelity
appeared in The Record on
February 1, 2001. It won 2nd place,
($5,000) in the 2002 Amy Foundation
General Journalism Competition.
