 Greg Williams is a Professional Singer/Entertainer,
                                                              Recording Artist
                                                                                  and Award-winning Songwriter.

     Greg travels Australia extensively performing at a variety of Venues and Festivals, promoting his latest album:-

                                                                                                                                  Originally from Townsville, North Queensland, and with Country "roots" from a 12 year stint as a farmer, and playing music prior to this all over Queensland, since 1993 Greg has lived in Tamworth, New South Wales Australia's Country Music Capital.

TAMWORTH
Januarys annual Tamworth Country Music Festival has kept Greg very busy every year, since his first appearance in 1991 at Joe Maguires Pub with The Roadhouse Band. Over the ensuing years performance venues have included Tamworth RSL, Services Club, Wests Leagues, Workmens Club, Good Companions Hotel, The Pub, K-Mart Plaza Stage, The Oasis Hotel, Hogs Breath Cafe, Oxley Bowling Club & many more.
Many will remember the success of his band:- "Roadhouse Band" (who won at KMart in 1991) and touring with "Whiteline" and "City Slickers" in the early 90s, before directing his energies into his solo career.                                                                 

TAMWORTH COUNTRY THEATRE                         
Since The popular Tamworth Country Theatre Concerts started in 1997, Greg has appeared 3 times as a featured artist, and also in "cameo" roles at other times, singing duets with Christina George, and a trio with The Crosby Sisters, on their hit songs, and harmonies in Darcy LeYear's show.

                                                                    
TALENT                                                            
Since 1995, Greg satisfies his desire to nurture undiscovered Tamworth festival talent by hosting the long-running Kmart "Jazzer Smith" Memorial Talent Quest, during the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
As an extension of this compelling interest, Greg now presents a "Young Country Stars" Showcase and a
"Winners & Grinners" Concert at THE rising Tamworth Country Venue - during the Festival.
* Publicans Joan & Bevan Douglas are wonderful Country Music supporters not only at festival time, but all year.

                     RECORDING                                           
      As well as his previous two album recordings, in 1999 Greg recorded at Lindsay Butler Studios, his new single "Red Hot Momma". This song is a multi-award winning Greg Williams original, released on the very first Tamworth Songwriter Association Compilation Promotional CD- "The Winners", one of 12 original songs, selected from a strong Australia-wide field of  360 compositions. This single has been played all around Australia, and the song gets great reaction "LIVE" also!                                                                         

* Greg believes in giving entertainment value to his audience, whether "live" or on record. The proof of this is in the longevity of his involvement in the entertainment industry.
