Greg Stewart is a 27 year old singer/songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee. He's been singing and playing guitar for 8 years. Greg puts on a high energy show consisting of up tempo songs and heart touching ballads. His major musical influences are George Strait, Merle Haggard, Alabama, Conway Twitty, Charlie Daniels, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, and George Jones. In July of 1997, Greg placed third in the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown for Knoxville, TN. This year, he also performed in the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown in Knoxville and placed 5th out of 20 contestants in the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown at Governor's Palace in Sevierville, TN. Greg's new single, "Honky-Tonk Dancin' Machine", has been doing well. Greg recorded his new single at Studio One in Knoxville, TN, and was produced by him and Terry Turner. The musicians that performed on Greg's new single are members of country legend Lee Greenwood's band. Greg's goal is to receive a record contract and make a living by doing what he loves to do: Entertain and sing.
