| The famous Flying Train pictured at your left is now
11 years young. He prefers a swimming pool filled with
paper in his kennel to a pad or rug in a crate. The kennel
manager at Flying Eagles says he will cry & show his
displeasure if placed in another setting. Train was born
in Nov. 1989 and started showing the other racers how it
was done early on when he won the juvenile puppy stakes,
set an Abilene track record and then proceeded to Wichita
where he raced the 5/16ths mile in 30:10 seconds. That
record still stands today at Wichita. Learn about the life
of a Greyhound by reading LIFE
OF A RACING GREYHOUND. From puppyhood to
training and their careers, you will find this most interesting. |
