Email me here at the shelter and I'll see what I can do about it.

Nuclear Blastmapper

Use this little educational utility to get an idea as to the destructive capabilities of a nuclear bomb (check out the Greenbriar Bunker and the other links from this page as well - interesting stuff).  Good utility for determining the radius of a ghost storm around a city!

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Is your Doompriest looking for a control rod?  Need the placement of a power plant for your campaign?  Need info on anything nuclear? Click here!

The Yucca Mountain Project
"The U.S. Department of Energy is studying Yucca Mountain, Nevada, to determine if it's a suitable place to build a geologic repository for the nation's commercial and defense spentnuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste."  And it's located less than a hundred miles from Las Vegas.  Any questions?  Also has a lit of useful research links.

The Bureau of Atomic Tourism
"The Bureau of Atomic Tourism is dedicated to the promotion of tourist locations around the world that have either been the site of atomic explosions, display exhibits on the development of atomic devices, or contain vehicles that
were designed to deliver atomic weapons". I think that about says it all - go check it out!

The Nuclear History Site
"The purpose of this site is to discuss the history of nuclear energy in the United States, both for military and civilian purposes. Background information (is) presented to allow a fuller understanding of the issues involved in nuclear energy". Everything you ever wanted to know about nuclear waste, nuclear power, radiation, reactors, issues and safety - worth a look.

Quiet Earth
An excellent fan site devoted to Post Apocalyptic films and books.  With reviews!

Deathlands/Outlanders Web Survival Guide
The Deathlands "post apocalyptic survival" series of books (and to a lesser extent, the Outlanders series) by James Axler is incredibly meaty source material for your Hell on Earth campaign.  This is a very comprehesive fan site jam packed with usable information even if you've never read the books. Go take a look around.

C.Y.B.O.R.G. er
Ever wonder what your name would stand for if you were a cyborg?  Of course you have!  Go try it out! This fun little toy is on the Brunching Shuttlecock's comedy site.

Roadside America
An online guide to "off beat" tourist attractions.  A good place to find odd plot ideas and settings for adventures!

Urban Legend Reference Pages
This is just what the name implies - the truths and falsehoods behind more urban legends than you could shake a stick at.  Another great source for odd plot ideas.

Do you use mini's in your game?  Here's a few links to companies that produce/sell some doozies that fit right in with HoE!

B.J. Johnson's The New West
B.J. plays a  modified version of the 1st edition Gamma World (TSR) rules set in "the wild new frontier of post holocaust Texas - where the men are men, the women are women and the cactus will try to bite your head off if you get too close."  A beautiful site packed with original illustrations, house rules and plenty of "Wahoo" (check out the Bigfella Machine while you're there to see B.J.'s other works - Joe Violence kicks butt)!

octaNe RPG
"octaNe is a roller coaster ride through the trailer parks and strip malls of a post-apocalyptic, trash-culture America. A garish B-movie brought to life in living Glam-O-Vision. A funkadelic, no-holds barred steel cage match of...well, you get the picture. octaNe shares a kinship with the worlds of Feng Shui, Over the Edge and Deadlands. It's not a grim, cautionary tale of the apocalypse or a gritty slice of urban street life. It's a ridiculous world gone out of control, where the Mythic West meets Hollywood, where the cliches of film noir collide with the excesses of pulp comic books." Very cool little RPG (available for PDF download - inexpensive), jam packed with Wahoo!

All Flesh Must Be Eaten
Do you love zombies as much as I do? This game has 'em!  An entire RPG dedicated to the walking dead from Eden Studios.  Complete with an intoduction penned by old Shane "Hell on Earth" Hensley himself, AFMBE uses the Unisystem and includes a zombie creation system (easily adaptable to other games) and multiple game settings - including Post-Apocalyptic!  Not free, but worth checking out!

Dead Meat:
