How to Check the Connection
Would you like a tip to check the Internet connection? Click on the Command Prompt, then type Telnet the IP number of your ISP and the port number. My number is 209.88.190.110 110 but yours will be different, because you have a different Internet Service Provider.
Click Enter.
The response will indicate whether your line is working.
