Why upgrades don't always work

Decide if you want to perform an upgrade of your existing operating system or perform a new (clean) installation. In general, you should perform an upgrade if you answer yes to EACH of the following three questions:

* Does your current operating system support an upgrade to Windows 2000?

* Do you want to replace your previous Windows operating system files with Windows 2000?

* Do you want to keep your existing data and preferences?
