The problem is that teachers are not fighters. They accept what they are given and they are not paid properly. As a result qualified people do not go into the profession because they realize that they will not receive the proper compensation for their work.
A good change in the future would be for the teachers to be paid what they really are worth even though they do not make the same demands of others.
They will receive the compensation not because they screamed but because they acted properly and because they deserve it and in order to get the best people in the field.
Their cultured manner of requesting compensation politely should serve as a model for all other workers in the system.
